The 2023 moot court season is in full swing and we are happy to share with you a new actual update of Nica.team ranking. It includes competitions that announced results in Jan-Apr, two of them – Jessup and Vis West significantly influence the teams’ ranking. This update amends positions of more than 560 universities in the ranking.
Significant changes took place in the list of leaders. The Royal Institute of Colombo – the leader of last months gives way to Jessup and Vis West winners. One of them – the University of Vienna advances to the first place in Nica.team ranking skipping 20 lines.
University of Belgrade is not far holding the second position thanks to its students who [the very first time in history of Serbia] reached the Vis West finals.
University of Amsterdam reaches the third line with a prestigious trophy of Champions of Jessup. Last year world champion – Singapore Management University – stops one step to finals in both – Vis West and Jessup, however, significantly improved its positions comparing to our March update and reaches the fourth line so far.
So far the top 10 ranking looks like:
1 University of Vienna (Austria)
2 University of Belgrade (Serbia)
3 University of Amsterdam (Netherlands)
4 Singapore Management University (Singapore)
5 Royal Institute of Colombo (Sri Lanka)
6 Peking University (China)
7 National Law School of India University (India)
8 National Academy for Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) (India)
9 University of Hamburg (Germany)
10 University of the Philippines (Philippines)
