The final of the 37th Jean-Pictet Competition came to close and we are glad to congratulate the winner – the Free University of Tbilisi (Georgia). In the final, the team of the Free University of Tbilisi competed against the U.S. Air Force Academy. In 2022, the 37th edition of the Jean-Pictet Competition was held in Mexico, from 26 February to 5 March, for Anglophone teams.
We are looking forward to the results of the 38th edition to be held in Albania from 19 to 26 March, and of the Competition from 3 to 10 September 2022 in Indonesia – Pictet 39. Teams can apply for the 39th edition till 15th April. Applications must be written in English. Keep following our news!

The Jean-Pictet Competition is a unique training in international law for students. Its objective: to take the law out of the books. In 1989, Jean Pictet (1914-2002), the greatest international humanitarian law specialist, accepted to give his name to the Competition. The Committee for the Jean-Pictet Competition (Comité pour le Concours Jean-Pictet, CCJP) is a not-for-profit association organizing the Competition every year.
