The results of the Nuremberg Moot Court 2021

July 30 was a great day for two finalists of the Nuremberg Moot 2021: Maastricht University and Queen Mary, University of London. The final round was judged by 5 outstanding experts in international criminal law:

  • Solomy Balungi Bossa
  • Ivana Hrdlicková
  • Adel Maged
  • Bertram Schmitt

Queen Mary, University of London did its best and became the champion!

The Nuremberg Moot Court is an international competition held in English in Nuremberg, Germany. Teams are invited to argue a fictitious case before the “International Criminal Court”. Students are given the unique opportunity to develop their skills and plead at the historic Courtroom 600 in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice, where the Nuremberg Trials against the major Nazi war criminals took place.
