Congratulations to the University of Ottawa, winner of the 20th Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot!

This year the competition between teams was especially strong as many leading universities were mooting for the prize. An outstanding performance was demonstrated by the runner-up – Monash University.

Judges of the Grand finals: Lord Kitchin, Sir Richard Arnold, Professor Robert Burrell.

The Intellectual Property Moot is held annually in Oxford over 3 days in March. It is hosted by the Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre and organised by the Moot committee.  The Competition invites teams from universities around the world to prepare written submissions and present oral argument on each side of a hypothetical intellectual property law problem set by experts in the field.
