In an exciting and prestigious endeavor, the 22nd John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition is now open for registration! This esteemed event is dedicated to fostering the legal and oral presentation skills of law students worldwide while nurturing the next generation of lawyers in the specialized field of international trade law.

Key Details:

  • Clarification Questions Deadline Extension: November 13, 2023, 23:59 CET
  • Team Composition: Teams of 2 to 4 law students are eligible
  • Eligibility: Teams must comprise law students from universities or law faculties located in Member States of ELSA or current/acceding Members or observers to the WTO
  • Registration Fee: 250 Euros for one team
  • March-April: Regional Rounds in Kolkata, India; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Bogotá, Colombia; Nakuru City, Kenya; Cluj-Napoca, Romania
  • Final Oral Round takes place in June in Geneva, lasting 5 days and consisting of Preliminary Rounds, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and the Grand Final. The Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and Grand Final will take place at the WTO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
