In a culmination of legal prowess and rigorous cross-examination skills, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad has emerged victorious as the champions of The Cross-Examination Moot 2023, hosted by Sciences Po.
This unique competition, meticulously organized by a dedicated group of practitioners and academics, is designed to foster the development of the next generation of arbitration lawyers. The focus of the moot is exclusively on cross-examination in international arbitration, challenging university teams from around the world.
In the final hearing held at Sciences Po before a distinguished Tribunal composed of Annet van Hooft, Michael Ostrove, and Jean-Paul Dechamps, the teams from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, and Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem showcased exceptional skills and legal acumen.
After navigating challenging rounds, including cross-examining experts from Compass Lexecon at the International Chamber of Commerce, NALSAR emerged triumphant, securing the coveted title of champions.
