Regional Rounds of the IISL Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition 2022 are held between March and early June. Regional Competition selects the winning team that will be competing in the International Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition in Paris in September. Many congratulations to William & Mary Law School – the finalist of the 2022 North American Rounds of the IISL and Leiden Law School – the winner of the European Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court.
This year’s case is ‘CANDIDIA vs. XENOVIA’ Concerning Registration and Damages Involving Objects Manufactured in Space.
Since its establishment by the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) in 1992, the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition has grown to cover five regions: North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa. More than 60 teams participate in this competition every year.
