Great University Zimbabwe is celebrating a momentous triumph as the victor of the prestigious 2023 All Africa International Humanitarian Law Competition. Their success is undoubtedly well-earned, with a compelling and articulate presentation that resonated strongly with the judging panel.
Securing the second-place position was Kenyatta University, with Emmanuel Kirimi clinching the prestigious BestSpeaker award during the Finals. Kirimi’s eloquence and persuasive speaking skills undoubtedly contributed to the university’s commendable performance.
Cavendish University Uganda earned recognition by receiving the Henry Dunant Prize. This distinguished award, conferred by both judges and students, acknowledges the team that exemplifies congeniality and embraces the spirit of Henry Dunant throughout the entirety of the competition.
Mohammed Farah from Mogadishu University was honored with the Best Speaker award in the preliminary rounds. Farah’s impeccable application of legal principles, coupled with sound and convincing arguments, earned him this esteemed accolade.
