The NELMCC is a national environmental moot court competition hosted by the Pace University, NY. This year 58 teams competed online.

The results of the Moot Court:

Lewis & Clark Law School – the winner;

Duke University School of Law and Stetson University College of Law – the finalists;

Haley Nicholson (Lewis & Clark Law School) – the best oralist.

Instituted in 1989, the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition became the most prestigious environmental moot and the largest interschool moot court competition.

The moot tests skills in appellate brief writing and oral advocacy on issues drawn from real cases, providing experience in environmental litigation.

More of it, the Pace Environmental Law Review publishes the Bench Brief used in the Competition and the briefs accorded the Best Brief Awards by the attorney brief graders. In addition, all the Pace law reviews contribute to the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition.
