The Pax Moot Court competition of 2022 has been launched! Registration will last until 7 February 2022. Deadline for Submission of the Memorials – 28 March 2022.
This is the Borrás round – in memory of the great Private International Law scholar Alegría Borrás of Barcelona. The facts of the case, the rules and the schedule are available at the official page of the competition. The oral rounds of the PAX Moot Court are expected to take place in-person (with teams being present on-site in Paris). Online participation in the oral rounds will only be possible in case of justifiable reasons (e.g. COVID 19-related travel restrictions).
The PAX Moot Competition started in 2012 as an internal moot court activity at Sciences Po Paris initiated by Professor Horatia Muir Watt and Hélène van Lith as part of the SciencesPo team. PAX Moot Court is a specialized moot court competition focused on Private International Law issues. Participants are able to learn and apply first-hand the complexities and nuances of how international Conventions and EU Regulations interact in the context of globalization.
