Nuremberg Moot court Competition 2023: Moot problem is out!

The moot problem for  Nuremberg Moot Court Competition 2023 has been released and can be found here.

The application period to participate in the competition has ended on 30th January and 125 teams were selected for this year’s competition. Any teams that applied can check their team account to see if they were selected.

The selected teams have a busy schedule as the requests for clarifications are due on the 20th February 2023, while the memorials have to be submitted on April 2023, and the oral rounds are scheduled to take place from 19th to 22nd July, 2023 (to view the full schedule of the moot, click here).

All participating teams in the competition are given a unique opportunity to practice international criminal law and to defend their case in the historic courtroom 600 of the Nuremberg Palace of Justice, located in Germany, where the major Nazi war criminals were first tried, providing both a historical and educational experience.

The organizers of the Nuremberg Moot Court this year are International Nuremberg Principles Academy and the International Criminal Law Research Unit at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
