John H. Jackson moot court, is an international moot competition which focuses on international trade laws, where teams of 2 to 4 law students have to research a fictional case, concerning issues that border around International trade laws.
The participating teams are expected to defend their case for the appellant and respondent in front of a Panel which consists of World Trade Organization (WTO) and international trade law experts. The main aim of this moot competition is to encourage law students to be more grounded on the area of international law and to get familiar with the WTO dispute settlement procedures. John H. Jackson International Moot Court Competition is organized by the European Law Students Association (ELSA).
