On September 13, the long-awaited Compromis of the Jessup 2022 contest was published on the ILSA website: The Case Concerning the Suthan Referendum. This year the competition will concern human rights on the Internet, data theft, the secession of part of a nation’s territory, and foreign election interference. The first batch of basic materials is anticipated on 8 October, and the deadline for requests from teams for Corrections and Clarifications is October 15. Do not miss the chance to resolve the case between Antara and Ravaria! Follow the link to register.

Jessup is the world’s largest moot court competition, with participants from almost 700 law schools from 100 countries and jurisdictions. The Competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. One team from each eligible school is allowed to compete. Teams prepare oral and written pleadings arguing both the applicant and respondent positions of the case.
