Asia Cup International Law Moot Court Competition

About

Asia Cup started in 1999 in Tokyo, under the leadership of Professor TSUTSUI Wakamizu (University of Tokyo) to evolve "Japan Cup" into one that is open to students all over Asia. The aim of this competition is to contribute to the establishment of the "Rule of Law" in Asia. Through the Moot Court Competition, students from Asian countries contend for their ability to write memorials and to present oral pleadings on a fictional lawsuit case regarding international law. Also, it is designed to disseminate the knowledge and the understanding of international law into the Asian region.
